Middleport Pottery in Burslem is one of the last working Victorian potteries left in Britain, and a living link to the industry that made Stoke-on-Trent the World Capital of Ceramics. Behind its handsome brick frontage the old skills endure: the moulds, the wheels, and the patient hand-finishing that has changed little in generations.

This drawing is a tribute to that quiet endurance. It captures the character of a place where craftsmanship is still measured in skill and time rather than speed, and where Staffordshire's ceramic heritage is not a museum piece but a daily working reality in the heart of the Mother Town.
