I’m so excited to share some incredible news – The Staffordshire Signal CIC, a project I created alongside my work as The Red Haired Stokie, has been shortlisted for Community Project of the Year at the LoveNUL Business Awards 2025.
Out of more than 650 nominations, we’ve been chosen as one of the final projects, and honestly, that feels amazing.
For those who don’t know, The Staffordshire Signal is a non-profit lifestyle magazine and community platform for Staffordshire. It’s a printed magazine that you can pick up for free across the county; it’s also available online, and it’s funded entirely through local business advertising.
I built it to celebrate our towns, share positive stories, highlight local events, support small businesses, and give a voice to communities that are so often overlooked. To see it recognised in this way, after so much hard work and passion, feels really special.
But now I need your help. This award is decided entirely by public vote, and every single one matters.
