Middleport Pottery in Burslem is one of the last working Victorian potteries left in Britain, and a living link to the industry that made Stoke-on-Trent the World Capital of Ceramics. Behind its handsome brick frontage the old skills endure: the moulds, the wheels, and the patient hand-finishing that has changed little in generations.
