War Wheels 2026 - Foxfield Railway, Staffordshire

War Wheels at Foxfield Railway was fantastic today! We go every year and it never disappoints. There were loads of incredible vehicles, the Spitfire, the train running, Titanic Plum Porter on draught in the pub, and plenty of stalls selling all sorts of interesting things. It was lovely to see so many familiar faces too, and to hear the guns of all sizes being fired throughout the day. One of my favourite things is seeing the reenactors all dressed up, with all the kit, doing demonstrations and keeping living history alive for the next generations. Events like this really do bring the past to life. As always, it was a brilliant day, and it is on for the full weekend, so you can still go tomorrow if it sounds like your kind of thing.
